Meta announced its Segment Anything Model (SAM) 2 this week. The major headline is that it allows you to click on anything - say a skateboarder, or the sky - in a video and then change how that element appears.
One of the things we get asked a lot at ModelProp is whether we can improve property videos by removing grey old UK skies and adding in nice blue ones. Currently it's fiddly and usually too hard - however, with this there's every chance that in a few months it's going to be reasonably straightforward.
