OpenAI is reportedly mulling over legal action against Apple.

Why, you ask? Well, it seems their ChatGPT integration with Apple didn't quite bring the subscriber bonanza OpenAI was hoping for. Instead of riding high on iPhone fame, OpenAI feels like it's been left in the shadows.

The OpenAI-Apple partnership, announced with much fanfare in June 2024, was supposed to integrate ChatGPT into Siri and the iPhone’s Visual Intelligence feature. But instead of a golden goose, OpenAI claims it got a ghost, with features buried and revenue falling short of dreams.

Apple, meanwhile, has its own gripes, including privacy concerns and OpenAI’s hardware ambitions, led by ex-Apple execs. This isn’t OpenAI’s first rodeo with partner tension, as it navigates rocky waters with Microsoft and faces legal heat from Musk.

In the tech world, partnerships can be as slippery as a banana peel on a rainy day. Stay tuned to see if these titans can patch things up or if this is just the beginning of a tech showdown!
