Video of the Week: Sorting by Figure 03

I know, I know - my obsession with watching robots sorting packages is unhealthy.

But it's not just the fact that they can do it - it's how much faster they have gotten over just the last nine months. This one is really committed - even when it's getting other packages, one that it's already sorted, thrown back at its head.

This obviously is not the working environment that should be encouraged, whether human or machine. I would suspect that if robots could get angry then the guy commentating and throwing would find those fast-moving limbs directed in an altogether different manner towards him directly.

So ignore the provocation and just marvel at how far we've come already.

And look forward to the next one of these videos with the robots doing this at lightning speed sometime around this Christmas ...
