Apple is gearing up to give Siri a major makeover, transforming it into a chatbot extraordinaire, much like the popular ChatGPT.
According to the ever-reliable Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, this revamp is set to be the showstopper at Apple’s WWDC presentation in June.
Internally known as “Campos,” the new Siri will be a versatile whiz, handling both voice and text inputs with ease. This marks a significant shift from Apple’s previous stance, as Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior VP, once envisioned Siri as a more subtle AI presence. But with the chatbot craze taking the tech world by storm, Apple is jumping on the bandwagon to keep up with the Joneses—or, in this case, the OpenAIs!
