IBM and Anthropic are joining forces to sprinkle some AI magic into enterprise software!

Announced from Armonk, New York, IBM is set to weave Anthropic’s Claude large language model family into its software lineup. First up on the AI makeover list is IBM’s integrated development environment, already delighting a select group of lucky customers.

But wait, there’s more! The dynamic duo has also crafted a comprehensive guide to help enterprises build, deploy, and maintain top-notch AI agents. This collaboration marks a significant stride for Anthropic, which has been on a mission to conquer the enterprise sector since unveiling Claude Enterprise in September 2024.

And if you thought that was impressive, Anthropic just inked a deal with consulting powerhouse Deloitte to roll out Claude across its massive 500,000-person workforce. Talk about a grand entrance!

A study by Menlo Ventures in July revealed that enterprises are head over heels for Claude models, even more so than OpenAI’s offerings. With OpenAI's enterprise usage on the decline since 2023, it seems Anthropic is the new belle of the AI ball.

So, as IBM and Anthropic team up to revolutionise enterprise AI, businesses everywhere can look forward to a future brimming with innovation and intelligence. Cheers to a smarter tomorrow!
