Well, it seems even the mighty Amazon can have a hiccup or two in its robotic revolution!
The e-commerce behemoth has decided to hit the pause button on its Blue Jay robotics project, just shy of six months after its grand unveiling. This multi-armed marvel was meant to be the next big thing in sorting and moving packages at lightning speed. But alas, Blue Jay's wings have been clipped, at least for now.

This isn’t Amazon’s first rodeo with robotics. Remember Vulcan? This two-armed wonder is busy rearranging and grabbing goods with its camera and suction cup combo, feeling its way around like a pro. Since acquiring Kiva Systems in 2012, Amazon has been on a mission to automate its warehouses, boasting over a million robots as of last July.
So, while Blue Jay may be benched for now, Amazon’s robotic dreams are far from grounded. Here’s to the next chapter in warehouse wizardry!
