OK so ... wow.
This is the latest video model from Black Forest Labs, Flux 3. It's three samples stitched together, all wildly different but showcasing serious tech advances.
The first is a split-screen treatment of a woman walking with her dog. The overhead v behind shot composition is superbly accurate and the timings are absolutely perfect. The second, all about a herd of computer chips migrating north for the winter coolant is amusing and clever. The 90's classroom throwback is convincingly blurry - and the pause at the end really makes it utterly convincing.
What this shows is how straightforward it's going to be to create something that showcases your vision, whatever that is. Historically, narrative video has had to wait for something really important - here you can just doodle with it.
It's due out soon and I can't wait to have a play with it. Seedance 2.5 is also on its way so you can expect a cambrian explosion of eye-popping videos in the weeks to come. What have you always wanted to create a video or film of? Whatever that is, soon you'll be able to.
Wow.
