Google is introducing two innovative AI-powered features in Search and Discover, designed to enhance user connections with web content.
These features aim to deliver fresh content and links from across the internet, making it easier for users to stay informed and engaged.
The first feature is an upgraded AI-powered tool in Discover, which helps users stay updated on trending topics of interest. It provides brief previews that can be expanded for more information, along with links to further explore content on the web. Testing has shown that this feature simplifies catching up on stories from a diverse range of publishers and creators. Currently, this feature is available in the U.S., South Korea, and India.

Additionally, Google is streamlining access to the latest sports information in Search. Soon, users searching for players or teams on their phones will find a “What’s new” button. This button will display a feed of trending updates and articles, allowing users to quickly catch up on the latest sports action. This feature is set to roll out in the U.S. in the coming weeks.
With these AI enhancements, Google continues to improve how users connect with and discover content, making the digital experience more seamless and informative.
